屏蔽

  • 屏蔽 is optional 和 welcomed everyw在这里 on campus.
  • Please be supportive of those who choose to wear a mask.
  • 每 CDC exposure recommendations:
    • Those who are experiencing COVID-19症状 or who have tested positive should mask for 10 days following the onset of symptoms.
    • Those identified as a close contact after being exposed to COVID-19 should mask for 10 days following the date of exposure.
  • Masks are available at the Schacht Center.

  • Asymptomatic testing is no longer offered on campus.
  • Symptomatic COVID-19 antigen test kits for students are available at the Campus Center in the vending machine on the lower level adjacent to the mailroom. 学生 may access four free tests through the vending machine. Additional tests can also be purchased at local pharmacies or online. NOTE: Flowflex Rapid Antigen COVID tests were granted a shelf-life extension by the FDA. (更多的 information from the manufacturer, including the FDA approval, can be found 在这里).The Schacht Center is monitoring the revised expiration dates 和 stocking the vending machine only with valid tests.
  • 学生 may also call the Schacht Center during business hours for symptomatic testing.
  • PCR testing will be available through Baystate Reference Labs. 测试 will be billed to insurance 和 will be subject to deductibles 和 copays as outlined by your insurance plan. 任命 for PCR testing can be scheduled by calling the Schacht Center.

  • 学生 should begin to isolate in place immediately.
  • Isolation is required for a minimum of five days, as per CDC isolation recommendations.
  • Positive test results should be reported to COVIDcare@joker123plus.net. A COVID care specialist will return your email 和 be available to answer any questions you may have.
  • 学生 who test positive for COVID-19 will need to isolate in their assigned rooms. T在这里 will be very limited exceptions for students with accommodations or who meet certain eligibility criteria.
  • 学生 may leave their room only to obtain meals 和 use the restroom.
    • 学生 will “grab 和 go” from the dining room – must mask to enter 和 collect meal – 和 return to their room to eat alone or eat outside at least 6 feet from others.
  • 学生 should mask for 10 days after a positive test, even if symptoms are improving.
  • If you have had COVID-19 within the past 90 days, see CDC testing recommendations.

  • Wear a mask for 10 days following an exposure.

  • Attend classes 和 activities as long as you are free from symptoms 和 wearing a mask.
  • If you develop symptoms, begin isolating immediately 和 take a test.
  • 每 CDC exposure recommendations, take a rapid test on day five after an exposure, or sooner if you develop symptoms.
  • 学生 who test positive after exposure should follow the guidance under “What to do if you test positive for COVID-19.”

  • Take a rapid antigen test. If the test is positive, email COVIDCare@joker123plus.net 和 follow the guidance under “What to do if you test positive for COVID-19.”
  • If your COVID test is negative, stay home until your symptoms are improving 和 you have been fever-free for 24 hours.
